analyzing
SayAN-uh-lyz-ing/ˈæn.əˌlaɪz.ɪŋ/UK/ˈæn.ə.laɪz.ɪŋ/AUS/ˈæn.ə.lɑez.ɪŋ/

The committee is analyzing last year's figures before setting a new budget.
Analyzing the soil samples took the lab several weeks to finish.
Note
One form, two jobs. After a form of be it builds the progressive (they are analyzing a sentence), and on its own it works as a noun (analyzing a fossil can take weeks). Either way it keeps the transitive habit of the verb, so it normally carries a direct object: analyzing the data, analyzing an action. The -yze spelling is the American form.
