disabilities
- 1Plural of disability.

Researchers studied how physical and cognitive disabilities affect daily routines.
Note
A plural that only some meanings of disability can take. The countable ones form it: separate conditions (people with disabilities), the limits that arise where impairment meets an unaccommodating society, and the lawyer's sense of legal incapacities. The uncountable uses never do. The general state of being disabled, or the informal sense of regular state payments, as in living on disability, stays singular.
